Welcome to Partners Dancing - 2012
Partners Dancing is run by Sue and Roger. Sue learnt to dance at the age of 14 at the local dancing school, where she achieved her medals.
Sue and Roger met in Worthing at a local Disco in 1974, and were married in 1978. In 1985 Sue thought it about time Roger learnt to dance, so she took him to a dance school where he learnt his first steps. Learning the steps was one thing..but putting it into practice was another!!! They started a dance as a hobby on a Monday evening at a local church hall, for themselves and a few friends, about 12 people in all. Now they have up to 450 people (dictated by the size of the hall) at their Saturday dances.
Partners provide a great social occasion with its mixture of dancing, friendly chatter over a drink (or two!)and a chance to meet and make friends. The aim is to have fun and thoroughly have a great evening out.
With a good mixture of music, Ballroon,Latin,Sequence,Party and the odd Line dance, they please a wide section of people.
